MEET THE CHARACTERS

  >> POLLY THE PELICAN

Polly the Pelican is Gulf Islands Waterpark’s Mother Bird.  She is often found perched at the top of Lil’ Pelican Bay Children’s Play area watching over all of the “little pelicans.”  Polly is the park cheerleader and cool camp counselor.  She loves having fun in the sun and dancing with the little ones – especially to her favorite Jimmy Buffet tunes.  She would love it if Gully would join her sometimes or maybe for a cheeseburger in paradise but unfortunately he doesn’t seem to show a bit of interest.

>> GULLY THE SEAGULL

Gully the Seagull is the lovable, yet spastic, sidekick to T. Kiln.  As cool as T. Kiln is, Gully is a polar opposite in the cool department.  He desperately wants to be as cool and athletic as T. Kiln, but he just isn’t capable of achieving his desired level of cool.  One thing Gully is the best at is making people laugh.  He is the Gilligan of the water park and little does he know it, but Polly has a secret crush on him because he is so funny and goofy-cute.  Anytime Polly shows him some interest, Gully freezes up or ends up taking a pitfall.

  >> T. KILN THE RACCOON

T. Kiln is a hard working outdoorsman that relates everything to Country Music lyrics.  He can’t get enough Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney, as this is his idea of ultra cool.  T. Kiln is a unpolished Eagle Scout with a McGyver understanding of construction & mechanics.  He can tie any kind of knot, make a rescue vehicle or apparatus out of common water park equipment, and is needed to bail out Gully and the rest of the gang, from some tight spots almost daily

>> CAT B’LUE THE CRAB

Cat B’Lue is the straight arrow sheriff of the water park.  If you are roughhousing, running on concrete, try to swim less than 30 minutes after eating or just look like you could do any of these things, Cat B’Lue is on to you.  He always enters the picture to make sure the rest of the mascots are not having too much fun as it could lead to Footloose or Freak dancing and other risky behavior.
