Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: GIWP accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  Checks are only accepted for deposits on future events or if arrangements are made in advance to pay with check.

Q: Do I have to pay even if I do not get in the water?
A: Yes, once you are in the park everything is free to use.

Q: How much does it cost to park?
A: Parking is Free.

Q: Can we bring our own food and drink into the park?
A: Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park. Satisfy your hunger at Petit Bois Island Cafe’, Polly’s Sweet Stop, plus more food & beverage venues.

Q: Can we bring our own lifejackets, tubes and rafts?
A: Life jackets and tubes are available at no charge. You can bring in your own lifejackets, as long as they are US Coast Guard approved.  Swimsuits with built-in floatation devices are not Coast Guard approved, and are not allowed on some attractions. Rafts, Arm-floaties, Fun Noodles, Boards and Swim rings are not permitted.

Q: Do I have to wear a swimsuit in the pools and water attractions?
A: Appropriate swimwear is required, and subject to waterpark approval. No visible undergarments, jeans, thongs, denim, long pants, belts or cut-off shorts allowed.  Shoes and sunglasses are also not allowed on certain rides. Swim diapers are required for children and other diaper dependent guests.  Swim diapers are available for purchase in Gully’s Gift Shop.

Q. Is there a tattoo policy?
A. Tattoos with lewd content are not permitted. Tattoos with nudity, profanity, or any offensive design must be covered up. Management retains the right to ask guests to cover up any tattoo deemed offensive.

Q: What are the height requirements for the rides?
A: For the safety of our guests, certain rides have height requirements: 42 inches for Horn Island Blaster, Camille, Dear Island Express and Cat Island Catapult. Smaller guests will love Lil’ Pelican’s Bay, Ship Island Wreck, Spray St. Louis, Padscagoula, Lazy Pearl river and Waveland Wavepool.

Q: Are there an umbrellas or cabanas available?
A: Cabana’s and larger Pavilions are available to rent upon arrival, until sold-out. There are a few tables with umbrellas available on first come first serve basis.

Q: How much does it cost to rent a locker?
A: Lockers are $7 a day plus a $5 deposit at the Admissions office and Gully’s Gift shop. If you return your key at the end of the day you will receive your $5 deposit back. Lockers are available on a first come basis and with all day, unlimited access.

Q: Can I leave the park and get back in?
A: All guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to show an un-tampered wristband or stamp before re-entering the park.

Q: Can I smoke at Gulf Islands Waterpark?
A: Gulf Islands Waterpark is a Smoke-Free Facility, in accordance with the City of Gulfport’s Smoke-Free Air Ordinance.
Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: No pets are allowed inside the gates. Please do not leave pets in your automobile where temperatures quickly rise above 100 degrees.

Q: Do you have a gift shop in case I forget something?
A: (click) Gully’s Gift Shop has everything you need like towels, sunscreen,flip flops, waterproof cameras, swim diapers, earplugs, hats, cover-ups, T-shirts plus unique souvenirs and gifts.

Q: Can I bring a beach bag or tote?
A: Yes and GIWP reserves the right to check any bag as guests enter.

Q: What happens to the photographs and video footage taken by authorized waterpark staff.
A: All staff photo and videographers are easily identifiable. We use the footage they shoot to produce commercials, YouTube Videos, Print Advertising and post to various social media websites. If you do not wish to be included in these please let us know and we will be sure not to use your image.
